The importance of storytelling
Stome studies shows that sharing stories, talking and singing every day helps child development. Teading stories sparks child's imagination, stimulates curiosity and helps with brain development. Interesting illustrations and word patterns -such as rhymes- can get child talking about what they are seeing and thinking, and help tem understand the patterns of language.
Exploting stories also helps child learn the difference between "real" and "make-believe" and might help develop their own ideas.
