AMCO (Advanced Methods Corporation) is an innovative method created by a North American company for the education of English. This methodology allows that pupils from Pree-school up to Secondary could learn in an effective and practical way the English language, following a similar process to the used in the acquisition of their mother language.

 

From the 90's, we have bet for a model of integral education based on the emotional, intellectual and social development of pupils. AMCO offers a different education providing the necessary tools to face the challenges of the changeable, multicultural and competitive world of nowadays. The aim is that pupils could develop all their potential. 

 

AMCO includes:

 

• Multiple Intelligences.

• Emotional Intelligence.

• Theory of the generating voice.

• Skills of the thought.

• Cooperative Work.

• Graphical Organizers.

• Use of the TIC. 

 

At present, almost 12.000 children improve their English level with the AMCO Method in schools of Andalucia, Canarias, Cantabria, Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, Estremadura and Galicia.

 

Though the AMCO Method didn't arise in Spain (its headquarters is in San Diego - CA, USA), from the year 2007 a process of adjustment is carried out to the educational Spanish system and to its requirements, as well as to the schedule of courses of our country.

 

All the AMCO Methods (Rocket II, the III, V and English) not only cover without any problem the minimal contents demanded in all the Autonomous Communities but, in most cases they exceed them, providing a solid formation to the English students directed to improving their communicative competition.

 

AMCO has developed a wide range of methods perfectly designed and sequenced to help to every college in the improvement of the English level of pupils. They divide in:

 

• ROCKET II: An ideal method for those colleges that give English from 50 to 60 minutes 2 times per week.

• ROCKET III: Method designed for colleges that give English from 50 to 60 minutes 3 times a week.

• ROCKET V: suitable Method for colleges that give English from 50 to 60 minutes a day.

• ENGLISH: Method destined for colleges that give English from 1 to 1,5 daily hours.
